Lead Consultant – Monitoring & Evaluation

Dimas is a Kenyan Consultant and a monitoring and evaluation professional with over 10 years of experience in carrying out feasibility studies, baseline, midterm and end term evaluations right from questionnaire design, enumerator recruitment and training, pretesting tools, supervision and coordination of field teams. He has coordinated and supervised over 50 surveys in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Dismas has previously consulted for various international and local organizations including Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation  (FAO), International Maize and Wheat Improvement center (CIMMYT), International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), International Livestock Research Institute(ILRI), International Food Policy Research Institute(IFPRI), Tegemeo Institute of Agricultural Policy and Development, African Plant Nutrition Institute(APNI), International Committee for the Development of Peoples (CISP), IPSIA-Kenya, Arche Nova among others.

Dismas has solid experience in qualitative and quantitative data validation, analysis and management using SPSS, Stata and Excel to identify potential impacts and outcomes from different interventions. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in programming data collection tools in SurveyCTO, Open Data Kit (ODK) and KOBO collect. He holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness Management degree from Egerton University, Kenya, and is currently pursuing a master degree in Monitoring and Evaluation at Mount Kenya University.
