Mr. John Emeripus, MA, BA

Lead Consultant – Communications, Media and Public Relations

Mr. Emeripus is a seasoned communications professional with over 15 years of experience (specializing in DevCom – Development Communication). He has successfully developed and executed comprehensive communication strategies for various national and county government organizations. His ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences has consistently resulted in increased brand visibility and successful stakeholder engagement throughout his professional career.

In his previous role as Turkana County Public Communications Director, he spearheaded the development and implementation of a comprehensive County communication plan and Strategy in Collaboration with USAID Nawiri Program, and his ability to thrive in fast-paced environments has enabled him to create an immediate impact at any organization.

Mr. Emeripus has more experience, in Project and Programme Planning and implementation and M&E including simplifying concepts. He has played a leading role in quarterly reviews and updates of program reporting and work planning for effective project delivery.

Mr. Emeripus has previously worked with the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) as a senior Human Rights Officer. He has also served as the Head of the Public Communications Department and as the Director of Public Communication and Media Relations in the Turkana County Government.

Mr. Emeripus holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi, a BA Degree from Moi University, a Certificate in Senior Management Course (SMC) from the Kenya School of Government -Baringo, and a Diploma in Journalism from Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
