Mark Ekaale Ekuam has over 25 years’ experience in the (ICT) sector and Business Management in both Corporate and Retail Markets. Mark is currently the Head of Outbound Business Services that includes sales, marketing and support at Jamii Telecommunication Limited. Prior to the current role he headed the Sales department for 9 years driving acquisition of the flagship Faiba brand for both fixed and Mobile broadband. His expertise includes, Entrepreneurship, Business Consulting, Business Information Systems, Corporate and Retail Sales Management, and Training.
Mark is the former Chairman of Turkana Professionals Association (TPA) a non-political association of various professionals from the Turkana community whose objective is to promote interests and welfare of Turkana Professionals and the entire Turkana community and promote resource mobilization, among others. A Member Laibon Society of Kenya, Alumni of Lenana School, Member Nakuru Golf Club, Member and Chairman Finance and Procurement Committee, Communication Practitioners Alumni Association, (CPAAK) and Fellow and Member Computer Society of Kenya, (FCSK).
Mark is also an Associate Member International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Member University of Nairobi Alumni Association, (UoNAA), Member Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Turkana Chapter, (KNCCI), Former Member County Budget and Economic Forum, (CBEF) Turkana County Government as a none state actor and Advisor for the Ministry of ICT and Roads and Infrastructure, Former Chairman, The Select Panel on recruitment of the CEO/Secretary and Members of Turkana County Public Service Board (TCPSB) in 2019, Former Board member for Tullow Oil BV Kenya, Former Board Member and Member of the Credit Committee, Kass Sacco Society Limited, Board Member Kassicco Investment Limited, a Cooperative and Investment company.
Mark holds a Master of Science degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management and Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Business Information Systems from the University of Nairobi. He is currently a PhD Candidate in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development at the University of Nairobi.
