Mr. Sylvester has a wealth of training and capacity-building experience spanning over 10 years in entrepreneurship, business development, child protection, social life skills, agribusiness, youth career mentorship, and business development services in Kakuma in Turkana West and Turkana County. Sylvester has recently delivered child protection training for Build Africa and World Vision Kenya in Kakuma, agribusiness, life skills, and youth mentorship, hay fodder training and ball stitching training for GIZ in Kakuma, business grants resource persons’ training for Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) in Kakuma, Business entrepreneurship training for AYDEN Consulting, entrepreneurship and life skills training for Swiss Contact in Kakuma, Life skills TOT training for AAR Japan in Kakuma, Life skills training for Kenya Youth Employment Opportunities Project (KYEOP) in Lodwar, and Lokichar, Agribusiness training for AAHI in Kakuma, Agribusiness training for Child Fund Turkana in Turkana South, Turkana Central, Loima and Turkana North sub-counties, child protection training for ADRA Kenya, and entrepreneurship training for Women Enterprise Fund Kenya.

Sylvester is a business coach and leader with a keen interest in sustainability, business resilience, and economic empowerment for special and marginalized groups. He has experience in both the public and private sectors, and he is based in Kakuma. He values integrity, effective communication, professionalism, fairness, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Mr. Sylvester is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya, and he is currently concluding a Master of Arts Degree in Social Development from Maseno University. Sylvester is a certified mediator by the Imperial Mediation and Conciliation Institute of Kenya.
